MICAH REA,

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL

Micah Rea brings over 8 years of political and government affairs experience from working in director roles for conservative Republican candidates and campaigns in SC including Regional Director for the South Carolina Republican Party Victory. Micah was asked by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster to join the Executive Staff for the Lt. Governor's Office helping oversee internal and external communication, constituent services, media, and administrative affairs from 2019 to 2021. Before founding the Rea Group, Micah was the Director of Association Management and Government Affairs Advisor for Sweatman Strategies and served as the Chief Political Officer for Faith Wins overseeing national political projects.

Micah has represented South Carolina three times at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC, and twice at the European Prayer Breakfast at the European Parliament in Brussels, Belgium where he has worked with the White House, Congressional, and European Parliament members. In October 2022, Micah was elected as the National Committeeman for the South Carolina Young Republicans where he represents the interests of the state organization on the National Level.

He currently serves as a board member or board chair for several nonprofit entities including Chairman, Capitol Ambassadors, Secretary, American Leadership Academy-Lexington, South Carolina Prayer Fellowship, Child Evangelism Fellowship, SC Citizens for Life, and Palmetto Leads.

Micah received his education in Business Administration with a Minor in Aviation from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and has taken additional courses in U.S. Government, and Public, Foreign, and Economic Policy from HarvardX, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University.

Micah enjoys traveling, antiquing, and serving in the local and international communities with his wife, Katriel Rea. They are active members of First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC where Micah sings in the Choir.
